• Educational Data: Information related to courses enrolled, quiz scores, certificates achieved, and learning progress.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our Services for a variety of educational and operational purposes described below:

• To facilitate account creation and logon process securely using Better Auth.
• To deliver and facilitate delivery of educational content (LMS, Digital Library) to the user.
• To respond to user inquiries/offer support to students and parents.
• To send administrative information to you, such as updates to our terms, conditions, and policies.
• To fulfill and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges through the Marketplace.

4. Sharing of Your Information

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill educational obligations. We DO NOT sell your personal data to third parties.

We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work (e.g., Supabase for database and storage, Razorpay for payment processing, Resend for emails).

5. Security of Your Information

We have implemented appropriate enterprise-grade technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. This includes Row Level Security (RLS) in Supabase, secure HttpOnly session cookies, and encrypted data storage.

6. Global Awards Program Data

For participants in the AET Salem Global Awards program, we collect and process specific information:

• Information Collected: Email addresses for secure OTP verification, application form data, and uploaded documents/photographs required for evaluation.
• Access and Evaluation: Application data is strictly accessible only by authorized AET Salem administrators and assigned evaluators for the purpose of assessing the submission.
• Public Results: If selected as an official winner, basic identifying information (name, institution, country, citation, and provided photograph) may be published publicly on the official Global Awards results pages and associated promotional materials.
• Retention: Application records and documents are retained for auditing, alumni tracking, and historical record-keeping purposes as deemed necessary by the Trust.
